MaryJo has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. She has a deep love and appreciation for yoga both on and off the mat. She experienced firsthand the power of yoga to heal, rebuild and sustain health and wellbeing. She describes yoga as giving her the ability to “lift the fog” and make space for clarity, acceptance and contentment. During MaryJo’s 28 years in the Air Force she had the opportunity to share the benefits of yoga with the women and men of the Armed Forces and their families. Becoming a certified yoga teacher has been a lifelong dream that was realized when she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training under the direction, guidance and love of In Bloom Yoga Studio and Driftwood Yoga School. MaryJo is passionate about connecting the ancient teachings of the yoga masters with everyday life and creating a space where everyone can discover the best version of themselves.
